General installation and maintenance of the filter:

1. Please pay attention to the product when installing.

2, the product seal should be placed in place, to be level.

3. The locking screws of the upper and lower covers of the assembly must be locked in place. And check if it is loose. Whether the seal is reliable.

6. Do not overtighten the wing nut that secures the upper and lower casings of the air filter.

7. Ensure that the gasket from the air cleaner to the throttle body is installed to ensure that the upper casing of the air cleaner is properly installed and tightened. Loss or misalignment of the gasket can cause the engine to emit noise or allow unfiltered air to enter the engine.

Air filter maintenance knowledge:

Master the characteristics and cleaning methods of paper filters. This filter element uses microporous filter paper and the surface is treated. When the engine is running, the air filters the dust through the micropores to ensure that clean air enters the cylinder. In use, a layer of dust adheres around the filter element. When cleaning, do not use water or oil to prevent the oil from immersing the filter element. There are two common cleaning methods:

1.tapping method, the filter element is taken out from the shell, and the end of the paper filter element is gently tapped to make the dust fall off. The outer surface of the filter element should not be knocked to prevent damage to the filter element.

2.Purging method, that is, blowing air from the inside of the filter element with compressed air to blow off the dust. To prevent damage to the filter paper, the compressed air pressure must not exceed 0. 2 ~ 0. 3MPa.
